ALL SYSTEMS GO is a play-by-email roleplaying game set in Dream Pod 9's Jovian Chronicles universe in the year 2212, a couple of years after the Odyssey and shortly before the momentous events of the Chaos Principle. Tensions are high between CEGA and the Jovian Confederation; both are building navies and ships of war the likes of which have never been seen. The Venusian Bank is suspected of having violated the Edicts, conducting illegal experiments on the newly discovered and carefully guarded Jovian floaters. Mars inches closer every day to being a planet at war with itself. In 2212, the solar system is on the brink. Enter the JSS Fierce II. A Forge-class patrol carrier, the Fierce II was launched in June of 2211, some five years after the original Fierce was lost mysteriously with all hands in the Belt. Assigned to Alpha Division and responsible for the defense of Vanguard Mountain -- the leading Jovian Trojans -- the Fierce patrols a vast swath of space, often operating in conjunction with other JAF vessels. Just returned from her year-long shakedown cruise out to Saturn, the Fierce has been replenished and her crew rejuvenated; all aboard are anxious for their next assignment: the innermost reaches of Jovian space -- bordering on the Belt. |
