DISADVANTAGES
Secret ID: Peter Stone
Reputation: Famous high-tech superhero
Normal Characteristic Maxima
DNPC: Jessica Blake
Somewhat near-sighted -- needs glasses, contacts, or helmet.
A bit "four-color" in his thinking
Wants to live up to his father's superhero legacy
APPEARANCE
The Surge Armor stands at roughly six-feet-tall. The majority of the outfit is of a gold colored high-tech metal compound, particularly at the helmet, gauntlets, foot coverings, and torso plate.  Upon the chest armor is a lightning bolt symbol vaguely shaped like an "S."  The arms, legs and eyeholes of the armor are space-age blue plastics.  When active, the outfit hums and crackles with electrictity, tiny arcs dancing upon it's surface.

Out of the power-armor, Peter Stone is just shy of 5'11" and in excellent physical shape.  He has long wheaten hair that he often puts in a ponytail.  His green eyes are behind thin-lensed gold-rimmed glasses.  He prefers to dress casual when he can.

POWERS/TACTICS
The Surge Armor is state-of-the-art technology built to produce, channel, conduct and amplify electrical energy.  It can create an arc tunnel encompasing many targets at once, or focus at one with one mighty burst of energy in excess of 640 Kilo-Watz.  Other effects can be produced by the suit, if one has the knowledge... and the experience.

It's the lack of experience that is Peter's concern.  He has yet to formulate any tactics of his own, so finds himself either relying on what he knows of his father's old tricks, or he just plain "wings it."

PERSONALITY
Peter Stone tries to act like the typical casual laid back artist.  While he does truly enjoy drawing and inking for Horizon Comics, the rest of the image he tries to project is mostly trying to escape the mold of his father when it comes to his personal life.  Peter actually has a highly scientific mind as well, vaguely analytical.  He finds himself drawn back to "how" things work, rather than just taking matters on blind faith.

Despite Peter's best attempts to be a free spirit, his sense of responsiblity eventually overwhelms him.  A touch naive in some matters, he sometimes takes it for granted that folks will do the 'right thing' as a matter of course.  In the new world of Metas he is entering, this causes him to assume a bit of a four color mentality.

He has a sarcastic streak he can't quite quell, especially when forced to face some quandry he'd rather ignore.  Currently looming over him, is the discovery the father he held nothing but contempt for was also his childhood hero.  Peter knows he had his father misjudged, and it galls him so he tries to make it right by doing things as Surge would have done.  Given the armor his guilt and sense of duty forces him into is the same, it's going to be sometime before Peter can put that particular Ghost-in-the-Machine to rest.
